Sinterklaas, drie weken later kerst, en daartussen nog een verjaardagspartijtje van een vriendje. Je telt de pakjes bij elkaar op en je weet het eigenlijk al: dit past niet meer. Geen methode, geen systeem, gewoon een afspraak met een getal erin. En precies dat getal is waarom hij zo populair is. Je kunt &#8220;vier&#8221; doorgeven aan opa en oma zonder een half uur te moeten uitleggen waarom jullie kast uitpuilt.<\/p>\n  <p>Voor de meeste gezinnen is dat winst. Vier is minder dan wat er anders was gekomen.<\/p>\n  <div class=\"blog-highlight\">Vier cadeaus in december zijn geen probleem. Vier cadeaus die er in juni nog liggen, wel.<\/div>\n  <h2>Waar de 4 cadeautjes regel ophoudt te werken<\/h2>\n  <p>De regel gaat over \u00e9\u00e9n avond. Over wat er binnenkomt. Wat hij niet regelt is wat er daarna gebeurt, en daar zit de eigenlijke stapel.<\/p>\n  <p>Tel maar mee. Vier met Sinterklaas, vier met kerst, een verjaardag, en wat oma tussendoor meeneemt. Dan zit je op tien tot twaalf nieuwe dingen per jaar, in een kast die vorig jaar ook al vol stond. Per moment klopt het keurig. Het totaal loopt gewoon door.<\/p>\n  <p>Er is nog iets. &#8220;Iets om te dragen&#8221; en &#8220;iets om te lezen&#8221; kiezen zichzelf eigenlijk. Maar &#8220;iets wat het graag wil&#8221; is in november gekozen op basis van een reclame of wat een vriendje heeft. Dat is de categorie waar de miskopen zitten, en hij telt even zwaar mee als de andere drie.<\/p>\n  <h2>Wat in de praktijk wel scheelt<\/h2>\n  <ul>\n    <li><strong>Ruim eerst op, koop daarna pas<\/strong>: kijk in november wat er al maanden onaangeraakt ligt. Wat eruit gaat, maakt ruimte voor wat erin komt.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Maak de afspraak v\u00f3\u00f3r eind november<\/strong>: op 4 december is alles allang gekocht. Een appje naar de opa&#8217;s en oma&#8217;s in oktober werkt beter dan een gesprek achteraf.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Behandel de wenscategorie anders<\/strong>: vraag je kind niet wat het wil hebben, maar waar het de laatste weken het liefst mee speelde. Dat levert andere antwoorden op.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Laat \u00e9\u00e9n van de vier tijdelijk zijn<\/strong>: een uitje, een ochtend samen, of speelgoed dat na een paar maanden weer weggaat.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <h2>Wat er na januari nog gespeeld wordt<\/h2>\n  <p>De cadeaus die blijven boeien zijn zelden de opvallendste uit de winkel. Hij haalt de druk van december weg en geeft je iets concreets om af te spreken met de familie. Hij lost alleen de helft op.<\/p>\n  <p>Het scheelt namelijk enorm als niet elk cadeau een besluit voor altijd is. Als speelgoed ook weer weg kan zodra je kind eroverheen gegroeid is, kies je voor de komende maanden in plaats van voor de komende vijf jaar. Dat is ook de gedachte achter RePlayClub: speelgoed dat komt en gaat in het tempo van je kind.<\/p>\n  <p>De vraag onder de vraag is dus niet hoeveel er dit jaar bij komt.
