Our Story
We believe children don’t need more toys, but better ones – toys that grow with them, spark wonder, and can be shared without worry.
At Nora’s house we were forever tripping over building blocks. Her four children played plenty, but grew bored of their toys just as fast. The cupboards kept filling up while much of it was hardly used. It felt unnecessary, and honestly rather wasteful.
One afternoon we sat down for coffee. Surrounded by dress-up clothes and a dinosaur on the kitchen counter, we wondered:
The idea stuck, and it felt right straight away. We — Nora (mother of four and psychologist) and Khatereh (aunt and creative mind) — knew there had to be a better way.
That is how RePlayClub started: een duurzaam alternatief voor steeds nieuw speelgoed kopen. Speelgoed dat rondgaat, kinderen dat blijft uitdagen en ouders dat weer ruimte geeft.

2023 — The beginning
A dinosaur on the kitchen counter
Nora keeps tripping over her four children’s building blocks. At the kitchen table the idea takes shape: borrow toys, play with them, send them back once your child has had enough.
2023 — Building
A collection and a cleaning line
The platform is built and the collection is curated. Every toy is cleaned and checked before it goes out to a family. That process is still in place today.
2024 — Launch
The first boxes go out
The first families sign up. Clean toys at the door, and a home that finally feels a little calmer.
Now
Borrow. Play. Swap.
Toys that keep circulating instead of sitting still. Less clutter, less overstimulation, more play.
