Woet Wooden Toolbox, 15-Piece Set

The Woet wooden toolbox includes: a sturdy wooden box with a handle, a hammer, a screwdriver, a wrench, and various bolts, nuts, gears, and connectors. Fifteen pieces in total. Material: 100% FSC-certified wood. Ages 3 and up. Item number 10551.

Here’s how your child plays with it: The bolts actually screw into the nuts, and that’s what sets this apart from most toy tool sets. Your child can stack two small boards on top of each other, insert a bolt through them, and tighten it with the wrench until it’s secure. Then they can loosen it and do it all over again. That repetition is where the focus comes in: it takes a moment for the threads to engage, and you can’t rush it. The box has a handle, so the whole workshop can be moved to the hallway or the yard. Starting at age 3, it’s mostly about turning and connecting; starting at age 5, your child begins to build with a plan in mind.
